02 nd July 2024

Named after the architect of the National Theatre, Lasdun is an elegant gem of a restaurant. Discreetly tucked away inside the grand Brutalist landmark, the restaurant has proved a hit with the critics who have praised the “careful, ornate, modern British cooking”, that makes the best of the finest seasonal local produce available.

Just in time for the height of summer, Lasdun is expanding its offering for the warmer months with a sister pop-up terrace, the Lasdun Bar, situated on the Weston Terrace overlooking the river.

What's on the menu?

Top choices on the food menu include a Dorset crab and mayonnaise bun; treacle-cured Tamworth ham and Lincolnshire Poacher cheese bun; smoked salmon and cucumber bun, and a goat’s curd, caper and watercress bun.

On the drinks side try refreshing serves like the Lasdun Summer Cup, Elderflower Tom Collins, the Lasdun Negroni or the Muz Vermouth and Soda. For bubbly fans they are also serving a range of English sparkling wines from Nyetimber served both by the bottle and glass

When’s it open?
