Popping up this summer at Southbank Centre

24 th April 2024

From destination dining at venues like Skylon to fast-casual spots such as Honest Burgers and the bustling Southbank Centre Food Market, you are never far from a great meal at Southbank Centre. During the spring-summer season Southbank Centre's riverside dining options expand even more with a host of brilliant pop-ups and food trucks setting up camp for the season.

This year there are more delicious pop-ups to quench your appetite than ever with a host of old favourites returning, plus some tasty new spots making their debut.

Open daily from 25 April until 22 September, here's a look at who's popping up.

ARØUND

Aiming to bring you London’s softest, freshly-baked cookies, ARØUND’s recipes are born from a love for American-style cookies fused with Berlin-based inspirations. Think super-sized cookies that are satisfyingly gooey in the middle. Partner your cookie with ground coffee, hand-made soft drinks, or soft-serve ice-cream.

TRUFFLE BURGER

A firm favourite returns once again! Form an orderly line to get your decadent truffle burger fix from this food truck beneath Hungerford Bridge.

JIMMY'S BBQ CLUB

Returning to South Bank for their seventh annual summer pop-up,  Jimmy's BBQ Club is an interactive pop-up barbecue restaurant experience right on the river. There are two bars with casual seating for enjoying summer sundowners and juicy burgers flipped on the barbecue while you wait, plus a roof terrace, and a private dining area where Jimmy's famous six-course tasting menus are served.

FRANK!

This new food truck delivers 'an elevated hot dog experience' that is inspired by classic American traditions that have been given a 'special London twist'. The menu promises innovative flavour combinations and a dedication to using locally sourced ingredients from independent businesses, topped with in-house made sauces for that extra authentic touch.

PUZZLES

Promising to be a 'relaxed family-focused pop-up bar', this new pop-up aims to appeal to all drinkers with a fully stocked soft drinks selection that spans from classic sodas to summer slushies, plus Pimms, frozen margaritas and craft beers by King Cross indie brewers Two Tribes.

THE THIRSTY FARRIER

This quirky pop-up bar is the perfect photo-op, sitting with a prime view of Big Ben and the London Eye. Fashioned from a salvaged vintage horsebox, the bar serves up classic British summer cocktails including Pimm's, Aperol Spritz and elderflower G&Ts, as well as fruity passionfruit margaritas, and mango and strawberry mojitos.

SNOG FROZEN YOGHURT

You can't miss the neon pink SNOG bus parked up right next Jubilee Gardens. Head up to the top deck of this reformed Routemaster bus for fat-free organic frozen yoghurt in five mouth-watering flavours with a view.
