The chic wine bar Forza Wine at National Theatre is opening a summer pop-up on the theatre's Weston Terrace in May!
Opened in late summer 2023, Forza Wine has quickly become one of the most popular bar-restaurant terraces by the river. A sister venue to the Forza rooftop bar in Peckham, Forza Wine is not just a pre-and post- theatre venue, it's a destination in itself, attracting fans from across the city for its fantastic boutique wines, 'Italian-ish' small plates, inventive soft serves and the infamous custardo.
Now just in time for the start of summer 2024, the bar-restaurant is launching Forza Taps, a 60-cover terrace and bar on the Weston Terrace (the terrace just below the permanent restaurant terrace).
What's on the menu?
Serving on ‘tap’ drinks, alongside Forza's signature ‘Italian-ish’ snack menu, the terrace will be a walk-ins only affair with a food focus on seasonal summer dishes like courgettes, garlic and mint, tomato, basil and pork grattato, and coppa and pickles courtesy of the Ham and Cheese Co. For those with a sweet tooth, the trademark chilled Custardo® is also on the Forza Taps menu.
When's it open?
Forza Taps is open from 20 May until 29 September, daily 12pm–11:30pm (Sundays until 11pm).
