Southbank Centre
Welcome to one of the world's leading centres for the performing arts!
Fans of Lebanese flavours rejoice – Comptoir Libanais has arrived in South Bank, now open next to the Royal Festival Hall at Southbank Centre!
Comptoir Libanais is a colourful all-day restaurant serving delicious Lebanese, Middle Eastern and North African cuisine from breakfast right up until dinner. Known for its classic wide variety of mouthwatering mezze dishes, grilled koftas and flavoursome tagines, there’s something for everyone.
Popular menu highlights include grilled koftas, falafel, hummus, tabbouleh, fatoush and the spinach and feta börek. For dessert you can’t beat a plate of sticky sweet homemade baklava enjoyed with some mint and rose-infused sweet tea. Traditional drinks feature prominently, including a great choice of teas, Lebanese wines, fresh juices and refreshing homemade lemonades.
Kids are well catered for with an excellent value kids menu, that also comes with cute creative activity sheets to keep the little ones busy.
The signature bright and breezy décor at Comptoir Libanais conjures the colour and vibrancy of the Mediterranean, bursting with shades of rose pink, pistachio green, bougainvillaea cerise and rich, earthy ochre.
Located opposite the entrance to the Royal Festival Hall on Nelson Mandela Walk, the deceptively large restaurant stretches right underneath the old railway arches that have been characterfully integrated into the split-level restaurant, and there's also a terrace out front for those sunny South Bank mornings.
At the centre of the lower mezzanine space with its distinctive arched ceiling stands an immense tree, sure to quickly become an Insta favourite, while Moroccan lamps, coloured glass and intricate tiling recall the great souks of the Arab world.
Open Mon–Wed 9am–10pm, Thu–Sat 9am–11pm, Sun 9am–9pm.
