What's in store for the winter season?
From mid-November 2024 until mid-2025 the 450-seat Dorfman Theatre stage will be closed for renovations and infrastructure upgrades, making the upcoming winter season slightly smaller in scale this year.
Productions that are already scheduled for the National Theatre winter season include a revival of Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest starring Sharon D Clarke, Ncuti Gatwa and Hugh Skinner (20 November to 25 January at the Lyttleton Theatre), and a festive season adaptation of Noel Streatfeild’s novel Ballet Shoes on the OIivier stage (from 23 November).
When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets can be booked online at nationaltheatre.org.uk. General public sales for the autumn season 2024 open on 23 May.
