2025 marks Rufus Norris's final year at the helm of the National Theatre, and the esteemed director ends his decade with a stunning lineup of shows.
Tickets are already on sale for epic returning plays Nye and Dear England, as well as for Stephen Sondheim's eagerly anticipated Here We Are and Lynette Linton's revival of the 1970s play Alterations.
The theatre's summer programme has also now been announced with tickets going on sale for members from Tue 28 January, and to the general public on Thu 6 February. Judging by recent ticket-buying frenzies (this winter's production of The Importance of Being Earnest sold out its entire run in a matter of days) you'll definitely want to join the queue early to secure your seats this summer!
In particular you can expect much buzz and excitement surrounding Suzie Miller (the creator of the multi-award-winning hit Prima Facie)'s latest work Inter Alia starring the impeccable Rosamund Pike in the lead role. Described as a "searing examination of motherhood and masculinity", it's sure to be one of 2025's hottest tickets.
Also going on sale next week are tickets for The Estate, a brand new play starring the BAFTA winner Adeel Akhtar, David Lan's brand new play The Land of the Living starring Juliet Stevenson, and rounding out the year there's David Eldridge's End starring Clive Owen and Saskia Reeves.
Members' ticket sales open at 12pm on Thu 30 Jan, Patrons can book from 12pm on Tue 28 Jan.

Clive Owen is Alfie and Saskia Reeves is Julie in this touching and funny play on a life well lived, that completes David Eldridge’s trilogy exploring love and relationships.
