From classic plays to new works, monologue collections, biographies, theatre criticism and history, plus books on the theatrical craft written specifically for actors, directors and writers, every aspect of the theatre world is covered at this extensive theatre bookshop.
There’s also a wonderful range of National Theatre-themed gifts such as posters and notepads, and even jars of limited-edition National Theatre honey produced in the apiary in the theatre’s rooftop garden. Also, look out for their quirky gift collections like costume designer Emma Sunley’s bespoke cushion covers made using recycled fabrics from National Theatre productions and limited-edition gift ranges inspired by recent National Theatre productions.
The shop is located in the ground floor foyer of the National Theatre.
