The annual National Lottery Open Week is an opportunity for venues across the country who receive support from the National Lottery fund to give back to lottery players by offering free entry and discounted tickets.
The 2026 National Lottery Week runs from Saturday 7 March to Sunday 15 March and there are scores of museums and galleries across the UK joining in this year, including the Florence Nightingale Museum and the Hayward Gallery, right here in South Bank
2-4-1 tickets to the Florence Nightingale Museum
Located in the St Thomas’ Hospital, this deceptively large museum presents an in-depth look at the life, work and legacy of Florence Nightingale. From her interest in animals and pets as therapy, to her pioneering work in statistics and her long-lasting impact on nursing and care work across the world, this museum tells ‘the Lady with the Lamp’s remarkable story in meticulous detail.
Throughout Open Week, National Lottery players can get two entrance tickets to the museum for the price of one. No booking is required. Tickets can be purchased at the welcome desk on arrival, make sure to bring proof of purchase of a National Lottery game to redeem your offer. 25% off tickets for Chiharu Shiota and Yin Xiuzhen at Hayward Gallery
Visitors to the Hayward Gallery can get 25% off their entrance tickets throughout Open Week. Their latest exhibitions, Chiharu Shiota's Threads of Life and Yin Xiuzhen's Heart to Heart, are both included in the price of a single ticket. Both feature large-scale installations of immersive and emotive works that explore themes of memory, identity, the body and belonging.
