Reflecting its diverse cultural programming, keen eye for detail and passion for the arts, Southbank Centre's shops aim to offer something for everyone.
Here you can find chic products from around the world, all held together with a contemporary, and often light-hearted feel. Stock is regularly updated to reflect the changes in Southbank Centre’s artistic happenings, as well as showcasing evolving trends and seasonally-inspired gifts.
There are three shops located across Southbank Centre's different venues, and each one presents a slightly different range of items.
The small shop adjoining the Hayward Gallery focuses on art and artists. For those who love art books and exhibition catalogues this shop has a superb range, covering an amazing variety of modern and contemporary artists and artistic movements. This shop also showcases the latest gift collections inspired by current exhibitions on display, such as tote bags, umbrellas, mugs, notebooks and other gifts.
This expansive shop next to the Clore Ballroom in the middle of the Royal Festival Hall foyer has a large selection of gifts for children, many of them with a creative twist, such as colouring books, musical instruments and crafting kits. If you are a fan of the adorable JellyCat plushy toys, this shop has one of the biggest selections you can find in London!
Paying homage to the Southbank Centre's famous concert halls and the National Poetry Library, there's a great selection of poetry and music-themed gifts, ranging from books to teatowels. When it comes to style and design the Southbank Centre exclusive ranges such as Block Scene (inspired by South Bank's Brutalist architecture) and Net & Bell (inspired by the Royal Festival Hall's iconic modernist carpets) are fantastic with plenty of signature tote bags, umbrellas, scarves, mugs, stationery and more to choose from.
Visit this beautiful shop on the walkway facing the Royal Festival Hall ballroom, (opposite the Nelson Mandela statue) to browse a wide range of souvenirs and gifts including books, jewellery, children's gifts, art prints, homeware and stationery, plus a delightful collection of posters referencing iconic South Bank landmarks.
