This Spring, the dessert menu at Wahaca is getting a gloriously OTT takeover courtesy of the playful chocolate brand Tony's Chocolonely.
Until 28 April diners at Wahaca South Bank (next to the skatepark at Southbank Centre) will be able to indulge in a selection of unapologetically chocolately dessert tacos, as well as a new chocolate dipping sauce for those all-essential churros, and on the cocktails side, there's the Tony’s Tipsy Chocco-Latte to try.
What's on the limited-edition menu?
Tony's are taking over the dessert menu and Wahaca's tacos are going sweet with crispy tortillas rolled in cinnamon sugar and packed with Tony's signature chocolates.
Choose from: Tony’s ‘Everything’ Ice Cream Taco (£8.95) - filled with vanilla ice cream, rich chocolate sauce, candied pecans, honeycomb and a generous chocolate chunk for good measure. Or there's the Chocolate Cherry Ice Cream Taco (£8.95) - combining cherry ripple ice cream with dark chocolate, topped with raspberry-dusted cream and a glossy glacé cherry.
Also on the menu are churros with Straight-Up Chocolate sauce or the ‘Everything’ Dipping, which includes chocolate sauce and shavings alongside candied pecans and honeycomb for dipping, dunking and sprinkling.
Pair your choice of dessert with the Tony’s Tipsy Chocco-Latte (£10.95) - a decadent blend of Kahlúa, vodka and chocolate cream, served over ice with a rim of chocolate shavings and garnished with a suitably seasonal chocolate egg.
