An official collaboration with the makers of the beloved Paddington films, The Paddington Bear Experience is one of South Bank’s most charming family attractions. Situated inside the historic County Hall, the experience is a walk-through immersive adventure aimed at young children, where families have the opportunity to become completely immersed into the world of the Paddington stories, from the jungles of Peru to the Brown family home at Windsor Gardens.
In addition to the excellent gift shop Mr Gruber’s (again inspired by the iconic shop from the Paddington stories), The Paddington Experience now also has its own food truck, parked up outside on the riverside between The London Eye and Westminster Bridge.
Especially for the winter, the Paddington Van serves up a mix of hot sweet and savoury pies. Choose from chicken and leek, ham hock and pea or vegetarian or vegan pies (all served with gravy) while on the sweet side of things there's a classic apple pie with custard.
For those frosty winter mornings , those with a sweet tooth will be glad to see that the Paddington Van also serves hot chocolate – and keeping things exactly on theme it’s a Peruvian orange hot chocolate! The nation’s favourite bear would definitely approve.
The Paddington Van operates daily from 9:45am–6pm
