More Free walking tours coming up this winter!
By popular demand, we’re now bringing you even more free guided walking tours of South Bank this winter!
Running throughout December and January, this fresh exhibition celebrates London’s graffiti culture featuring new and original work by 43 established and emerging artists.
Hosted at The Sidings, the shopping and dining destination that links Waterloo Station and the famous Leake Street graffiti tunnel, the On the Side exhibition also features a busy programme of pop-up activations including markets, pop-up shops and poetry residences.
Each week of the exhibition sees a different artist, collective or gallery curating the exhibition, meaning weekly there are completely new artworks to view (and buy).
As part of the exhibition, visitors can also look forward to a variety of artist-led activations including 'open paint jam' get-togethers inside the Leake Street graffiti tunnel next door (on Sunday 10 December and Saturday 13 January).
There are also pop-up shopping opportunities including The Art House Project pop-up ( January 9–15) and the WOM Christmas Pop Up Market (December 10–16) where you can also buy T-shirts, totes, figurines and other decorative pieces created by a huge range of local street artists.
All works from the exhibition are on sale and there's also the opportunity to buy limited edition prints of the 1m x 1m canvases on display via the Leake Street Galleries online shop.
The exhibition opens to the public on Saturday 2 December and is open daily 12pm-8pm (closed 25 Dec-1 Jan). Entrance is Free!
Find the exhibition space inside The Sidings next to BrewDog Waterloo (enter via Waterloo Station or York Road / Leake Street).
