The UEFA Euro 2024 tournament kicks off this summer in Germany and across South Bank there are scores of pubs and bars where you can watch all the action live.
If you want to watch any of this year's England matches, we highly recommend booking ahead - demand is always substantial! Unless otherwise indicated all the venues listed here are free to enter and will screen matches with live audio.
Pubs, bars and restaurants planning on screening the Euros live include: The Mulberry Bush, The Thirsty Bear, The Fountain & Ink, Doggett's Coat & Badge, The Victory, Brasserie Blanc, Big Belly Bar Passyunk Avenue, and Limin'.
If you are looking for big crowds, big screens and a buzzing atmosphere, the following are great options:
Where better to find a spot to cheer on your team than at the biggest bar in the UK?! BrewDog Waterloo is massive. In fact it is the biggest bar in the UK! In addition to a whopping 17 TV screens, there are a variety of other attractions that include duckpin bowling lanes, a microbrewery, a secret cocktail bar (look for a phone box and place a call to find your way in) and the famous BrewDog slide. Despite the size, it is highly recommended that you book in advance, especially for England matches, as this is an especially popular venue to watch the big match.
The huge pop-up beer yard and summer events venue Between the Bridges is hosting ticketed screening events (tickets from £11) for all England games, with the matches screened live on the venue's three video wall screens with live audio. All other Euros matches are unticketed and screened without sound in the courtyard.
Head to 26 Leake Street, an atmospheric venue inside the arches below Waterloo Station on South Bank's famous Leake Street graffiti tunnel where they are hosting special screenings of the Euros across several large screens with plenty of space to sit and watch with a crowd. Entrance is free (note that the venue is strictly 18+) and during the matches there’s a range of drinks offers behind the bar. The venue is screening 5pm and 8pm kick off matches on Fri 14, Sun 16, Thu 20, Fri 21, Sun 23, Mon 24 and Tue 25 June.
