In 2026, the Southbank Centre celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Royal Festival Hall as the only permanent cultural building to come from the 1951 Festival of Britain, and the first chapter of its story.
To kick off the celebrations, 750 tickets priced at £7.50 are now available for the opening weeks of major upcoming Hayward Gallery exhibitions in the spring and summer!
In February, two concurrently showing exhibitions – Yin Xiuzhen: Heart to Heart and Chiharu Shiota: Threads of Life open at the Hayward Gallery with £7.50 tickets available to visit the gallery from Tue 17 – Sun 22 Feb.
In the summer, the Hayward Gallery presents a landmark new exhibition by Anish Kapoor. Spanning new monumental works that defy the boundaries of sculpture alongside seminal works, the presentation offers a series of spectacular encounters with Kapoor’s mind-bending art across the entire gallery and its terraces. £7.50 tickets are also available for the opening week of this exhibition, from Tue 16 – Sun 21 Jun.
The opening week offer is subject to availability and limited to 750 tickets only. You can book your tickets for these exhibitions now online via the Hayward Gallery website.
However, take note that the offer ends at 10am on Friday 30 January 2026 – although with only 750 tickets up for grabs, we recommend snapping them up as soon as possible!
