Super Bowl Sunday Tailgate Party

Leake Street’s Philadelphia dive bar Passyunk Avenue is London’s home of American sports watching. And of course, there’s no bigger US sporting event than the Super Bowl!

In honour of Super Bowl LX, Passyunk Avenue’s epic Super Bowl Sunday tailgate party on Leake Street is back on Sunday 8 February.

The party spreads right out from the Passyunk Avenue bar and into the Leake Street tunnel with music courtesy of DJ Lovelock spinning the decks, big screens, mobile bars, and Cheesesteak Two serving up Passyunk's signature food.

The Waterloo tailgate is available on a first-come, first-served basis, but with space for over 1,000 people in the tunnel, there’s little fear of missing out, only of getting there early to grab the best spot inside by the bar!

In the US and Canada, ‘tailgate parties’ are typically held in the stadium car park before a big match. Sports fans gather in the hours before kick-off to drink and barbecue together next to their cars in a colourful and friendly pre-match party atmosphere, a unique vibe which Passyunk Avenue brilliantly recreates inside the Leake Street graffiti tunnel.

This year's Super Bowl final is hosted in Santa Clara, California, kicking off at 5:30pm (CT), which is 11:30pm in the UK.
