Oxo Tower Wharf, South Bank's centre for artisans and makers, once again plays host to the London Design Festival.
Headlining Oxo Tower's LDF programme this year is the Material Matters fair. Inspired by the critically acclaimed podcast of the same name, Material Matters brings together over 40 world-leading brands, designers, makers, manufacturers and organisations to celebrate the importance of innovative materials and their ability to shape our lives.
The 2023 fair takes place at the iconic Bargehouse and visitors can look forward to site-specific installations, a marketplace, a learning area, product showcases and an extensive talks programme.
For interior design enthusiasts, Material Matters is a must-visit with dozens of exhibitors showcasing their unique designs made from an incredible range of materials ranging from recycled aluminium, concrete, paper and porcelain to waste textiles, rubber particles and even milk and coffee!
Complementing the fair is the Wood Awards exhibition just across the way at gallery@oxo that features exceptional wood-centric work from some of the most interesting contemporary architects, designers and makers in the UK.
