In honour of the Leap Year, the London Eye will be presenting those people whose official birthday is 29 February, the opportunity to ride the London Eye on their birthday for free!
To get a free ride, ‘leaplings’ will need to come down to the London Eye ticket hall on the South Bank on the day and provide official proof of their date of birth (passports and driving licences are fine). The first 100 Leap Year birthday visitors will get to ride for free on 29 February.
After you’ve enjoyed your rotation of the world’s most iconic big wheel, take a walk down the South Bank towards the Oxo Tower Wharf, where there are more freebies lined up at the building's famous rooftop restaurant for those celebrating their birthday on 29 February!
OXO Tower Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie are treating any leaplings celebrating their birthdays at OXO with an individual birthday cake and a glass Harvey Nichols Champagne on the house.
