Giraffe is a popular casual dining chain known for bringing global classics to the masses in a family-friendly and lively atmosphere.
The South Bank branch is the largest Giraffe in London and with its great riverside views, spacious terrace and super location right on the Queen's Walk it's a popular one too. Rest assured though the queue goes down quickly. The menu is extensive and varied ensuring there's a dish to suit every taste, from duck stir fry to proper fish and chips.
With the many family attractions of the Southbank Centre just upstairs and big sights like the Aquarium and London Eye a short walk away, Giraffe is always popular with families. Open from 9am, there's a dedicated kids' breakfast and a lunch/dinner menu featuring no-fuss classics like fish fingers and sausage and beans.
Christmas dinners
This year's festive season three-course dinner at Giraffe costs just £27.95 per person. Dishes on the menu include Japanese katsu curry, Thai duck stir fry and a classic British fish and chips.
New Year's Eve party
Grab front-row seats to one of the world's most magnificent fireworks displays this New Year's at Giraffe. The party package includes canapes and prosecco on arrival followed by a four-course New Year's Eve menu with choices such as rib-eye steak, lamb shank and chocolate orange churros and a DJ party to take you late into the night.
