Big Belly, South Bank's very own indie comedy club, presents the second edition of its annual fringe fest comedy extravaganza.
Taking comedy beyond the club stage to quirky venues across the neighbourhood, the South Bank Fringe Festival mixes big names such as Reginald D Hunter and Joel Dommett, with a host of exciting new and upcoming talents, presenting a packed lineup of three days of non-stop comedy.
Making for a true festival experience, festivalgoers can purchase a wristband for one, two or three days, providing unlimited access to dozens of stand-up, podcasts and preview shows across multiple venues, including the brilliant Big Belly Comedy Club itself (located just behind the Sea Containers building).
Last year's secret gig venues included a warehouse, a church chapel, Ernie’s Beach and even a barbershop, and this year's spread of venues and events looks to be equally wacky and wonderful.
Confirmed acts on this year's festival lineup so far (with plenty more names still to be announced) include: local fan favourite Aurie Styla, Paul Sinha, Kyra Gray, Reginald D Hunter and Joel Dommett, plus a host of high-energy parties and popular comedy nights including The Hater's Ball, Lazer Karaoke and All Right Idiots podcast.
