Emergence Magazine, an online and print publication exploring ecology, culture, and spirituality, invites audiences to see, touch, hear, breathe and feel their way through this unique once-off immersive exhibition at Bargehouse featuring the work of nine artists.

From the smallest stirrings of life within our bodies to the massive imprints we have left on the Earth’s face, the exhibition hopes to illuminate the hidden natural forces surrounding us, inviting participants to navigate with a sensory perception beyond their daily experience.

Through film, photography, sound, installation, AR and VR, visitors will be immersed in the music of birdsong, the migration of microbes, the sounds of silence and the breath of a rainforest.

During both weekends of the exhibition, there will be a series of special events including conversations with the exhibition’s artists and Emergence Magazine contributors, and special film screenings. Tickets are not required for entry, but due to high demand, we recommend reserving one to guarantee your admission.

Featured artists include photographer Kiliii Yüyan, Sundance Award–winning filmmaker Kalyanee Mam, documentary photographer and photojournalist Zied Ben Romdhane and the critically-acclaimed experiential art collective Marshmallow Laser Feast.
