Remembrance Day comedy fundraiser

For this special Remembrance Sunday fundraising event, Big Belly Comedy Club presents a night of laughter with meaning. Every comedian on the bill has a military connection – from veterans to family members – bringing you sharp, heartfelt and hilarious stand-up.

The event is hosted to raise money for Hats Off For Bootsie, a charity dedicated to championing veterans overcoming mental trauma. The charity is named after Albert Lines (Bootsie), a World War II veteran who lived on the streets in London in the 50s, 60s and 70s.

The charity aims to raise public awareness of homelessness and mental trauma within the military veteran community, and to support veterans who have retrained as performers in the arts, providing platforms on which they can be employed to tell their story, overcome fears and show their capabilities.
