As part of his final season as director of the Old Vic, Matthew Warchus directs Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tracy Letts play spanning 70 years in the life of an accountant and mother of two in Ohio.
The 90-minute play stars Susan Sarandon (Dead Man Walking, Thelma & Louise) and Academy Andrea Riseborough (To Leslie, Matilda The Musical) as Mary Page Marlowe. Through eleven different scenes, played in-the-round, the two actresses capture the ordinary and extraordinary moments and choices that make her life so intimate and surprisingly complicated.
