Gabriel’s Wharf is South Bank’s original pop-up enclave, home to an eclectic selection of small, owner-run businesses with a focus on the handmade and the sustainable.

This summer is the last for Gabriel's Wharf in its current incarnation, as the 30-year-old pop-up site will be closing in October for a major revamp. Say farewell to Gabriel's Wharf 1.0 over two weekends of colourful celebrations centring arts, creativity and community.

On Saturday 5 and 19 September, visitors can enjoy a packed programme of live music, swing dance, family-friendly activities, shopping, plus food and drink, with something for all ages to discover and enjoy.

Families can get creative together with free drop-in art and craft workshops plus an all-ages painting session, with plenty of opportunities to make and take home something special.

Coming up at the Gabriel's Wharf Arts Festival!

Saturday 5 September
Enjoy live music and dance workshops from Doolally Tap and Swingdance UK with DJs on the decks from the retro team at Double Agent 7. There's also free creative activities all afternoon with painting with Smita Sonthalia from Skylark Galleries and a creative family workshop with Laura X Carlé

Saturday 19 September
For the final Saturday of the festival Swing Patrol will be performing and leading a free swing dancing class and there's live music from The Cable Street Rag Band and contemporary jazz from award-winning harpist Alina Bzhezhinska and acclaimed saxophonist, plus free painting and creative workshops for families.
