Led by County Hall Arts, Four Seasons Festival is a new planned seasonal programme of cultural events happening at unique spaces within the vast County Hall site.
The first edition – Seeds of Change – takes place over the May Day bank holiday weekend. The programme includes live events that open onto the Queen’s Walk as well as music recitals in the ‘Kiln Courtyard’ and guided tours of the fascinating County Hall building, and many of the events on the schedule are free!
Events on the two-day festival programme include:
10am
Festival Opening
The festival opens on the Queen's Walk with live music (next to the Paddington Bear Experience entrance and just along from Westminster Bridge). Free, no booking required.
11:00–11:45
County Hall Guided Tour
A guided walking tour around County Hall exploring the building’s history along Belvedere Road and the Queen’s Walk – starting at the South Bank Lion. Free tickets
13pm–2pm
Spring Classical Music Concert
A live open-air concert in the Kiln Courtyard exploring music shaped by growth, reflection and change. Free tickets
3pm–5pm
Sitar Performance & Afternoon Chai in collaboration with Kitchen India Restaurant
Traditional afternoon chai and snacks accompanied by a sitar and tabla live performance. More info, costs £14 per person
4pm–6pm
Clay Flowers Workshop with County Hall resident artist Yasemin Gava
A hands-on workshop inviting participants to make decorative flowers out of clay. Book tickets, £40 per person

Queen's Walk Welcome
Live music on the Queen’s Walk to start the second day of the festival (again, just along from Westminster Bridge and right next to the Paddington Bear Experience)

An outdoor storytelling and drawing workshop on the Queen’s Walk with acclaimed children’s author Vivian French MBE.

A classical music showcase featuring emerging young artists in the Kiln Courtyard. Free tickets
2pm–3pm
Creative Workshop with Vivian French: Session 2
