Especially for Valentine’s Day, director Emerald Fennel has curated a special film series showing at the BFI IMAX every Sunday in February. Featuring films that offer insights into her inspirations, the season also offers a taste of what audiences might expect from the upcoming film Wuthering Heights, based on Emily Brontë’s beloved novel.
From a long list of 12 films, four have been selected for screening at the BFI IMAX:
Sun 1 Feb at 2pm THE HANDMAIDEN DIRECTOR’S CUT (Park Chan-wook, 2016)
Sun 8 Feb at 2:30PM CRASH (David Cronenberg, 1996)
Sun 15 Feb at 11:30am ROMEO + JULIET (Baz Luhrmann, 1996)
Sun 22 Feb at 12:30pm THE BEGUILED (Sofia Coppola, 2017)
The new Wuthering Heights film will also be showing at the BFI IMAX from Friday 13 February.
