The perfect evening for ocean lovers! Explore the SEA LIFE London Aquarium after hours and hear from experts in the field of conservation about how SEA LIFE, the SEA LIFE Trust, and other charities dedicated to safeguarding the future of our seas are working to protect the world's marine life.
The evening begins with the opportunity to walk through the beginning of the aquarium after it closes to visitors for the day, before embarking on an intimate and educational evening with talks by leading conservationists.
On Tuesday 27 February the aquarium hosts Extinct in the Wild, an engaging discussion about supporting endangered species.
The speakers for the evening are:
Lauren Johnson, team leader at Whipsnade Zoo (ZSL) who will be sharing the amazing conservation work ZSL has been doing to help the critically endangered A.transgrediens, a species of killifish found in Turkey.
Charlotte Barcas, Senior Aquarist at SEA LIFE who will be giving a talk alongside members of the aquarist team at SEA LIFE Melbourne, sharing what their team is doing to help protect the southern purple-spotted gudgeon (also known as the zombiefish), that had previously been declared extinct in the wild.
