Park Plaza County Hall's new summer afternoon tea

05 th August 2025

Especially for the summer holidays, the Park Plaza County Hall hotel in South Bank has launched a family-friendly Under the Sea themed afternoon tea, running from July until September.

What’s on the menu?

Inspired by an enchanting underwater world, the Under the Sea Afternoon Tea menu is a playful twist on the traditional afternoon tea with plenty of colourful treats including shell-shaped cookies, coral-inspired cupcakes with raspberry mousse, chocolate sponge and a crystal glaze, frosted chocolate and vanilla choux buns and ocean-blue macarons.

You can’t beat the classics, and naturally this afternoon tea comes with scones with clotted cream and jam. Meanwhile, on the savoury side, there’s a broad choice of sandwiches including smoked salmon, chicken mayonnaise, egg mayonnaise and classic cucumber and cream cheese.

Drinks include a choice of premium teas, hot chocolate or Under the Sea-themed mocktails for the kids.

When is the Under the Sea Afternoon Tea served?

Available daily 12pm–5pm, until September at Atrio restaurant at Park Plaza Hotel County Hall.

The Under the Sea Afternoon Tea costs £40 per person, kids £25.
