The Artists’ Tea Room is a quaint little café tucked away in a secret spot deep inside the Edwardian County Hall building.

Run by talented bakers Rebecca and Taylor, who trained in Spain and Japan, this serene little spot brings together locally produced artworks with delicious fresh bakes.

The space itself is part art gallery and part café, with the walls lined by artworks produced by resident artists supported by the County Hall Arts organisation. There’s a regularly changing display of paintings on show, as well as a gorgeous frieze depicting the facade of this grand building made from dozens of handcrafted and painted ceramic tiles.

Meanwhile, all the pastries, patisserie, teas and coffee, are served on beautiful ceramics created in the on-site pottery studio that is operated by the tearoom’s neighbours County Hall Pottery.

Music is also part of the offering, with monthly lunchtime classical concerts taking place for free in partnership with County Hall Arts (keep an eye on their Instagram page for details on the latest performances).

HOW TO FIND THE ARTISTS' TEA ROOM: Enter County Hall from the central entrance on Belvedere Road (where the entrance for Witness for the Prosecution is), then follow the signs leading along the corridor on your left.
