The Bach Choir’s annual performance of Bach’s St Matthew Passion, sung in English, is a much-anticipated fixture in London’s classical music calendar.
The St Matthew Passion features some of Bach’s most beautiful and poignant chorales, alongside rousing and striking choruses.
This is a work that The Bach Choir is renowned for performing annually to an exceptionally high standard.
A unique Sunday performance, the 2-hour 45-minute concert starts at 11am with Part I, followed by a two-hour lunch interval. Part II then starts at approximately 2:15pm.
