National Garden Scheme open evening

Every year the National Garden Scheme gives visitors unique access to over 3,500 exceptional private gardens across the British Isles, raising impressive amounts of money for nursing and health charities through admissions, teas and cake.

The glorious Lambeth Palace Gardens, which sit opposite the St Thomas hospital complex on Lambeth Palace Road in South Bank, once again are taking part in the Scheme's annual open evenings event.

On Monday 20 May, the gardens will open their gates from 5pm, closing just before sunset, with wine, soft drinks and snacks on sale. There's also the chance to buy a jar of the exquisite honey that is made from the Palace garden beehives.

During the open evening visitors can join guided walks led by the gardeners who help care for this magnificent space, or simply explore and enjoy this tranquil space at your own pace.

It is recommended to buy tickets online in advance to avoid disappointment. Note that only card payments are accepted at the venue.
