Kindred Spirit, a night of eclectic soul, R&B, jazz and spoken word from up-and-coming and established musicians, returns once again to the Southbank Centre with a cracking presentation of new sounds from the London jazz scene.
Launched by the award-winning jazz artist Michelle Escoffery in the 2000s, the live music night, also known simply as Kindred, became one of London's leading monthly live music events of the era. Platforming an eclectic mix of up-and-coming names in soul, jazz and spoken word (many of whom went on to win major awards), Kindred worked to create a home development ground for fresh local talent - and now it's back, taking to the stage at the iconic Southbank Centre's Purcell Room!
Artists featured at this edition of Kindred at Southbank Centre include: singer-songwriter Farah Audhali, multi-instrumentalist and singer Amethyst, eclectic singer-songwriter Obi Franky, and the high-energy, genre-fluid DJ Péjú.
