EFG London Jazz Festival

The annual EFG Jazz Festival takes place in November at venues across London, presenting live performances by leading jazz stars, special collaborations, fresh discoveries, and exclusive new commissions. 

One of the UK’s landmark jazz music events, the festival celebrates the rich cultural diversity and musical eclecticism of the jazz scene and brings scores of world-class music makers to the city, with several of the events biggest concerts taking place here in the South Bank at Southbank Centre.

Headline acts playing at the festival at the Southbank Centre this year include: Ethiopian composer and 'father of ethio-jazz' Mulatu Astatke, UK drummer and producer Tom Skinner, Norwegian jazz saxophonist Marius Neset, Nigerian singer-songwriter Adekunle Gold, the legendary Malian singer Oumou Sangaré and the radical voice of musician Tanita Tikaram.
