The Royal Philharmonia Concert Orchestra conducted by Anthony Inglis performs this dazzling concert at the Royal Festival Hall to round out the festive holidays and welcome in a new year in thrilling style.
The concert programme is high energy rundown of rousing classical hits including the opening fanfare of Strauss’ Also sprach Zarathustra (made famous by its use in 2001: A Space Odyssey), 'Jupiter’ from Holst’s The Planets and Ravel's Boléro, as well as iconic favourites from the Proms such as Puccini’s triumphant ‘Nessun dorma’ and Elgar’s ‘Land of hope and glory’.
