The Royal Festival Hall hosts the exclusive launch of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s exquisite new novel Dream Count, a story of four women and their loves, longings and desires.
Adichie’s award-winning novels Half of a Yellow Sun, Americanah and Purple Hibiscus, have been translated into more than 55 languages and her essays and lectures on feminism have wielded huge cultural impact, making her one of the most exciting young voices in the literary world.
In her new novel Dream Count, Adichie trains her fierce eye on four very different but intimately connected women and dives into fundamental questions such as the nature of love and happiness, and how honest we must be with ourselves in order to love, and to be loved?
A reflection on the choices we make and those made for us, on daughters and mothers, on our interconnected world, Dream Count pulses with emotional urgency and poignant, unflinching observations on the human heart.
