Caroline Cole Ceramics: Schema

Building on her previous exhibition Order Through Pattern (2023), ceramic artist Caroline Cole’s latest work marks a shift from strict mathematical pattern making into a more fluid exploration of how forms emerge in nature.

Using slip-cast techniques, she creates multi-sided, non-circular vessels whose surfaces are carefully constructed through repeated motifs, creating spellbinding ceramic pieces that appear to shift and move.

A compelling dialogue between form, material and motif.
