Booker Prize Shortlist announcement

For the first time, the shortlist of nominees for the prestigious Booker Prize is being announced as part of a special literary evening taking place at the Royal Festival Hall.

The Booker Prize is the world’s most significant award for fiction written in English by authors from anywhere in the world. This unique event brings together this year's judges who will be discussing the selection of the six works that appear on the eagerly awaited shortlist.

This year's judges include Chair Roddy Doyle, Ayọ̀bámi Adébáyọ̀, Sarah Jessica Parker, Chris Power and Kiley Reid, who will be in conversation with Booker Prize Foundation Chief Executive Gaby Wood.

The 2025 Booker Prize winner will be announced on Monday 10 November.
