Even better yet - these daily classic film screenings all cost just £9.50 (and only £4 for those aged 25 and under)!

December's theme is Let It Snow, bringing together an eclectic array of films including some rarely seen historic landmarks. Highlights include:

SOUTH: SIR ERNEST SHACKLETON’S GLORIOUS EPIC OF THE ANTARCTIC (1919),
Ernest Shackleton’s 1917 expedition to the Antarctic was captured by cinematographer Frank Hurley and, the resulting film was restored to impressive effect by the BFI National Archive

THE GOLD RUSH (1925),
Hugely ambitious in scale, featuring one classic set-piece after another, and with a perfect balance between comedy and high drama, Charlie Chaplin's The Gold Rush is one of the greatest films of the silent era and perfect entertainment for all ages

DOCTOR ZHIVAGO (1965),
David Lean’s award-winning historical epic captures the political, social and emotional turbulence of Boris Pasternak's novel as it moves between breathtaking, large-scale set pieces and the intimacy of an unbridled love affair.

THE THING (1982),
John Carpenter’s deft handling of genre elements and his skill in eliciting every possible scare, combined with ground-breaking special effects and an ominous score, make The Thing a sci-fi classic.

FAR NORTH (2007)
Asif Kapadia’s stunning take on Sara Maitland’s dark short story set in sub-arctic Siberia juxtaposes an unforgiving yet magnificent landscape against the pitiful depths to which desire can descend.

LET THE RIGHT ONE IN (2008),
Tomas Alfredson’s iconic take on John Ajvide Lindqvist’s 2004 vampire horror unfolds in the depths of a Swedish winter and is an utterly original and terrifying take on the genre.

FROZEN (2013)
Disney's global phenomenon comes back to the big screen this winter with family matinee screenings on Sun 6 Dec and Sat 19 Dec.

Other films featured in the season include SNOWPIERCER, MCCABE & MRS MILLER, WINTER'S BONE and THE ICE STORM.
