Avatar: The Way of Water in IMAX 3D

The third film in James Cameron's blockbuster Avatar series hit cinemas in December. With just a few months to go until audiences are treated to a brand new epic, the BFI IMAX is bringing back the hugely popular second Avatar film for a special week of screenings.

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, on the planet of Pandora, Avatar: The Way of Water tells the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri and their children), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive and the tragedies they endure. Jake must once again work with Neytiri and the army of the Na’vi to protect their planet.

The film won several prestigious special effects awards when it was first released back in 2022, and there's no better way to enjoy Cameron's groundbreaking approach to 3-D filmmaking than on the biggest cinema screen in the UK!
