Located in the historic County Hall building next to Westminster Bridge, The Strings is a unique ‘musical restaurant’ that specialises in Italian cuisine and Spanish tapas. A deceptively spacious venue, the restaurant can seat up to 80 diners or 120-130 people standing.
Launched in 2021 by husband-and-wife team Santy Masciaro and Elise Weber, The Strings serves Spanish tapas and Italian cuisine inspired by Santy’s Italian homeland.
Adding something extra special to the occasion, Santy is also a professional classical guitarist and the restaurant has its own small stage where Santy performs classical works by composers such as Rodrigo, Tarrega, Albeniz, Granados, Verdi and Rossini.
Whether you are planning an intimate dinner or want to book the whole venue for a private party, the restaurant has a dedicated team ready to bring your vision to life, and packages can be tailor-made to ensure every occasion is a special one. A versatile space, the restaurant hosts everything from private dinners to wedding celebrations, corporate events and launch parties.
Located a short walk from Waterloo Station or Westminster tube station just across the bridge, the location could not be more central.
