Open Monday to Friday from 10:30am–3:30pm, the area in front of the St John’s Waterloo Church plays host to a small street food market offering a great variety of flavours from across the world including Thai, central Asian, Japanese and Middle Eastern cuisines.
Get your lunch to go or find a sunny spot to sit and eat inside the lovely St John’s churchyard garden. Transformed into a small ‘country garden’ in 1877, this is still a serene green space in the middle of the city – particularly beautiful in spring and summer when the abundant wildflower beds burst into bloom.
