Southbank Centre Food Market, London, UK

On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays the piazza on Belvedere Road behind the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall is transformed into a lively street food market.

There’s a huge choice of cuisine on offer from all over the world with some thirty different food and drinks stalls to choose from!

For a filling lunch, feast on Caribbean curries or Venezuelan bowls, try an Ethiopian injera platter or a classic Punjabi biryani. Vegetarians will love Horn OK Please's super authentic Indian dosas or the beautiful fresh salads from Levant Kitchen. Other popular favorites include The Polish Deli,  Pakhlan's traditional home-style Afghan comfort food and the irresistible Vietnamese stall My Kids Are Hungry.

Delicious sweet treats on sale include traditional French crêpes, homebaked cookies, brownies and pasteis de nata, Bello Gnocco's Sicilian cannoli and Choco Fruit’s bananas and strawberries smothered in melted Belgian chocolate (a good one for sharing).

For drinks there's coffee, a fresh juice stand serving every type of smoothie you can think of, The Robin Wine Bar, Honest Folk's seasonal cocktails and the super friendly craft beer bar The Hoplocker.

The majority of stalls have been serving here for years and the friendly owners behind the counters all know each other, adding to the unique community spirit of this bustling street food market. Every month four new stalls debut their street food too, meaning that regular visitors always have something different to try!
