Named in honour of the Royal Festival Hall’s 75th anniversary (coming up in 2026), this terrace bar on the 5th floor of the Royal Festival Hall launched in spring 2025.

The Level 5 balcony and bar space was completed in 1964 as part of an architectural extension to the river-facing section of the building and until its transformation in 2025 it was used primarily for interval drinks and receptions.

Now with an extensive makeover, the Seventy5th Balcony Bar has become a casual all-day drinks and dining space with its own kitchen and table service.

Breakfast is available from 10am (options include fresh granola, eggs and bacon or avo on toast), and a variety of small plates and sharing boards including hummus, croquettes, cheese boards and antipasti, is served from lunchtime onwards. The drinks menu offers signature cocktails including a hibiscus margarita and non-alcoholic cocktails like basil lemonade, plus an extensive wine list that includes English sparkling wines from Ridgeview Wine Estate and organic Verdejo from La Mancha.

Inside, a long bar counter stretches across the space with elegant tiles, mirrors and pendant lights all nodding to the building's original modernist aesthetics and colour palette. Meanwhile outside a spacious and sheltered 5th floor balcony looks out onto the river with plenty of seating making this a choice spot to sit and enjoy the view.
