Riverside Terrace Cafe., Southbank Centre, Belvedere Road, London, UK

A quick and casual café and bar inside the historic Royal Festival Hall that’s ideal for drinks or a light lunch before a show or exhibition.

With its easy-going atmosphere and views over the river, this cafe-bar is a popular meeting spot that – much like the Southbank Centre itself – attracts an eclectic crowd of people of all ages and backgrounds.

Headlining the food menu are signature 12-inch sourdough pizzas, made from scratch and cooked on site. There's an emphasis on using locally sourced ingredients from artisan suppliers, both in terms of food and drink. In addition to the tasty pizzas, support local with craft beers on tap courtesy of north London brewery, Two Tribes.

In the warmer months, the café extends out onto the huge Riverside Terrace where there's a second bar counter and even more tables to sit outside and enjoy the views. On weekends in the height of summer, there's even an outdoor stage on the terrace, with DJ sets and live performances further adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
