One of the US's leading chicken quick-serve restaurants, Popeyes landed in the UK in 2021. In particular, Popeyes' classic Louisiana chicken sandwiches have an online virality that many brands could only dream of - fans even queued overnight to get their hands on these cult sandwiches when Popeyes opened its first UK stores in Scotland and Wales.
Launched in summer 2024, the Waterloo Station branch of Popeyes is one of the first to open in central London, perfectly located for early morning snacks, post-theatre fast food or a quick meal before you rush off to the train.
The New Orleans-style menu centres around their signature Cajun spiced, breaded and battered chicken. The famous Popeyes ‘shatter crunch’ coating is a distinctive upgrade on the usual fried chicken fast food experience.
Order a box of chicken pieces, a chicken wrap, or follow the crowds and try the famous Popeyes chicken sandwich served with pickles in a fresh brioche bun and with a choice of sauces.
Open from 6am Popeyes Waterloo Station also has a breakfast menu (available until 11am) that includes breakfast rolls, muffins, American ‘biscuits’ and Cajun hash browns.
