For the ultimate cosy Christmas experience, the pop-up king Jimmy Garcia is back with Fire & Fromage, an indulgent homage to mountain hospitality right on the South Bank riverside.
Gather around the fire pits with a toasty blanket and toast your own marshmallows, warm up with mulled wine, boozy hot chocolate or classic hot cider, and book a table for a decadent fondue, all under South Bank's twinkling fairy lights.
If you love cheese, you'll definitely want to book a table for the extravagant fondue menu (£35 per person), which also comes with a hot drink to keep you toasty and mini chocolate doughnuts for dessert. Booking is recommended!
Meanwhile, the street food bar is slinging up comforting favourites like chicken schnitzel, raclette burgers, baked camembert or a classic bratwurst hot dog.
New Year's Eve at Fire & Fromage
Located right by the river, the winter pop-up Fire & Fromage is perfectly placed for soaking up the buzz of the New Year countdown. Packages start from £85 for a mulled drink and a burger, or £100 for the same plus a glass of Champagne at midnight. For something more substantial – and crucially your own covered seating in the fondue bar - for £220 the fondue package includes a trio of canapes, traditional fondue, dessert, unlimited wine and beer and a glass of Champagne at midnight.
