Diwali at Limin’

South Bank’s lively Indo-Caribbean restaurant and bar Limin’ at Gabriel's Wharf presents its annual Diwali celebration on Friday 10 November.

The colourful event begins at 5:30pm with the traditional lighting of the diyas, followed by two dinner sittings (at 6pm and 8pm). The Limin’ feast menu for the evening is the meat-free Trini Thali platter that comes with rice, dhal, coconut spinach, pumpkin, jackfruit and shredded sprouts curry, saheena (an Indo-Trinadian spinach fritter) and roti, followed of course by delicious traditional Indian sweet treats.

Adding to the festivities there’s traditional live entertainment and DJs plus henna and glitter artists.
